Alia is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher with a focus on safe, accessible alignment and flow based classes.
She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and received her training with Liz Heffernan, a Yoga Therapist, and Molly Masaoka, a student of Annie Carpenter, at the Soma Yoga Institute. Alia’s personal goal is to make yoga accessible for every body. Through her classes, she aims to help beginners, as well as all levels, feel comfortable and learn options, while ensuring a safe practice.
Alia incorporates her experience with Ayurveda, anatomy, safe alignment, vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra into her classes. In addition to yoga, Alia is a freelance designer, artist, educator and vintage store owner.
