Where can I train ?

You can book a training session anywhere you want (office gym, apartment gym, hotel gym, park, home, etc). If there is enough space to do some burpees and jumping jacks you are ready to go.

Can I book a session at a gym ?

Sure, as long as personal trainers are allowed without any additional charge. That is usually the case at apartment gyms, office gyms and hotel gyms.

Any need to tip ?

No. We want the training session to be as convenient for you as possible. Everything is automated and payment is completed 100% through the app.

Can I book a trainer on short notice ?

Of course, that is what we are here for. The only difference is that in case of a booking 12 hours or less before the session, your trainer has to confirm his availability.

How long are the sessions ?

You can either book a 1hour, 45 minutes or a 30 minutes session. Whatever suites your schedule and budget best.

Are the personal trainers all certified and interviewed ?

All of our personal trainers are qualified with one of the top certification institutions, insured and each handpicked through an extensive interview process. We only take on board trainers with a passion for the physical wellbeing and a genuine desire to help you reach your fitness/body/health goals.

Can I rate my trainer after the session ?

Of course, feedback about our trainers is very important to us. Trainers, who receive a rating below a certain ranking won’t be allowed to train for Kanthaka any longer. In case you are unhappy with a session, please feel free to contact us at: info@mykanthaka.com. Your opinion matters to us.

Can I bring a friend to a session ?

Sure, no problem at all. We recommend informing your trainer previous to the session for best results. The reservation will be made through your Kanthaka profile and billing within the app remains individual. Splitting costs would need to be done outside of the app between you and your friend.For larger groups please contact us and we are more than happy to set it up: info@mykanthaka.com.

If my trainer is late, do I still get the full session ?

Definitely, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Please always feel free to contact us at service@mykanthaka.com with any issues.

Do I need to provide equipment ?

Our trainers will come with their own equipment, so no need to provide anything. You can of course always use your own equipment.

What if I need to cancel a session ?

Up to 24 hours in advance you can cancel free of charge. In case of a last minute cancellation (less than 24 hours) we charge for the session to protect our trainers.

Can I contact my trainer before the session ?

Yes. 24 hours in advance to a session, you will have the possibility to chat with your trainer over the app.

Can I book a package of classes ?

Sure, we want you to have the chance to train as much as you want at affordable prices. That’s why we have created the “Challenges”. Challenges are packages of six or twelve sessions monthly for a significantly lower rate. There is no minimum contractual obligation or membership fee.

Is there an easy way to rebook past trainers ?

Yes, just add him/her over the app to your list of favorite trainers.

What can I expect from my training session ?

Expect to be asked to work on your fitness goals, which you determine with your trainer. Our trainers will provide you with individualized workouts helping you to achieve those personal fitness goals.

In which cities is Kanthaka offered already ?

Houston is our breakout market with expansions and recruiting already well on its way in Austin and Dallas.

What do I do if I have an emergency during the session ?

If you have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
