We simply do the opposite if one is trying to gain weight instead but instead of 10-20%, we instead would only increase the calorie intake by 5-10% and ensure that adequate protein, carbs, and fats are being incorporated along with a proper focus on whole foods with plenty of vegetables and fruit.
